What Is Over 2.5 Goals Betting?

Were it called “Over 3 Goals”, for example, punters might not immediately know what happens if exactly 3 goals were scored during a game. So if we were to get rid of the imaginary half-goal, this type of betting would have to be called “Over But Not Exactly 2 Goals”, or something equally silly. The solution might not be ideal, but it’s certainly the best option.

There are also occasionally variations of this market like Over 1.5 Goals and Over 3.5 Goals. These are less popular but work pretty much the same, so most of this guide can be applied to those as well.
